Les Heintz is an accomplished television producer and media consultant with over 25 years of experience in non-fiction television, marketing and commercial advertising.
Heintz has created, produced and directed prime-time series for cable networks. He has designed national advertising campaigns, and worked as a creative consultant to national, regional and statewide political campaigns.
His role as Executive Producer and President means that his fingerprints are on every creative project produced by HMP. His television screen credits include Executive Director, Writer, Director and Producer on cable networks such as Discovery Channel, WEtv and Travel Channel.
Heintz has also developed, written and produced commercials for presidential and congressional campaigns, as well as for trade associations and other interest groups. He works with a broad range of clients and has received a number of prestigious awards including first place in the New York Festivals, two CINE Golden Eagles, two Omni InterMedia awards, and a Silver at the Worldfest Film Festival, several Telly Awards and two regional Emmys.
Heintz launched his media company after working more than a decade in television news. His early work in journalism has been recognized by such groups as the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences, White House News Photographers Association, the Associated Press, United Press International, the Ohio State Awards, the Radio & Television News Directors Association, and American Women in Radio & TV.
Les was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Anne. They have two daughters, and currently reside in the Washington, DC area. He is currently President of the Capital/Chesapeake Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He is also a serves on the Board of Trustees to The National Academy.
